You Don't Love Me Yet

I really like this book because it's realistic. You have friends that form a band, lovers within the band and a friend in need of help. On some levels everyone can relate to one of these topics. We've all been that friend that either needed help or gave help to a friend. The characters, to me, come alive in this book. For some reason when I read the story, I can picture each character and how they look or how they act. This book has a different style then the other one we were reading; it's a nice change. It doesn't play with your mind in regards to whats reality and whats not.

Please remember, Ashley, that the blog isn't the place for you to review the books in terms of your personal likes and dislikes. Please take the blog seriously and do what the assignment on the syllabus indicates. Discuss the texts in terms of the theoretical perspectives we discuss in class. How do pop and high culture combine in this text? How does adaptation function as interpretation? I need to know that you're learning the material.
