Writing a Screen Play
This by far was the neatest assignment I have done in a really long time. I have never written a screen play before, so this was really neat. Being able to work with a small group and combined ideas for this screen play was fantastic. I found myself picturing, in my head, what it would look like if it really was turned into a movie. Would it make sense to do it this way or what if we changed that? Those were questions that I asked myself when writing this screen play. I had a great time working on this with the other girls in my group. I hope that Lethum enjoys reading them as much as I enjoyed writing it.

You Don't Love Me Yet
I really like this book because it's realistic. You have friends that form a band, lovers within the band and a friend in need of help. On some levels everyone can relate to one of these topics. We've all been that friend that either needed help or gave help to a friend. The characters, to me, come alive in this book. For some reason when I read the story, I can picture each character and how they look or how they act. This book has a different style then the other one we were reading; it's a nice change. It doesn't play with your mind in regards to whats reality and whats not.

Pulp Fiction
This is the first time that I have watched this movie in its entirety. This movie definitely keeps your mind thinking. It starts out in the middle of the story, goes to the end and then rewinds all the way back to the beginning. When its rewinding its hard to remember what already happened. It is very similar to "The Glass City" in regards to moving forward and then going backwards. Both of these texts took your mind for a ride and if you didn't hold on tight you feel off.

"City of Glass"
The "City of Glass" is a very interesting book. What I find interesting about it, is the fact that there is no set pattern. You start reading the book with the idea that it is going to have the basic characteristics of any other mystery book, but the kicker is, it isn't. Just when you start to get the hang of things, a wrench is thrown in. While reading this book it reminded me of the movie The Secret Window. They both deal with writers that bring their characters to life. In the "City of Glass" Quinn brings to life four of his characters from his books, which is pretty amazing if you ask me. To be able to keep them all straight takes talent. I am interested in whats going to happen next.
